We were updating a compact powder room and wanted everything to feel clean, simple, and a little warmer than standard builder-grade finishes. The Aure Maison pieces ended up tying everything together really well. The brass tone works beautifully with the mirror, faucet, and cabinet pulls, and even the outlet and switches feel like part of the design instead of something we had to work around. It’s a small space, so every detail shows — and these details made it feel complete.

The part of our renovation we were most excited to open

We were in the middle of a home update when our Aure Maison order arrived, and honestly it felt like opening the first “finished” part of the project. The hardware came neatly packed in individual black boxes, and even before installation it already felt elevated and well thought out. We had ordered several pieces for different areas, so seeing everything laid out and organized made the process feel much less overwhelming. It was one of those small renovation moments that gives you a boost - suddenly you can picture how all the final details are going to come together. The design, packaging, and overall presentation made it feel like we chose something special for our home.

The finishing touch for our bright family room

“We had already picked the light fixture and finished the room, but the switches still felt like an afterthought. Swapping them out made the whole space feel more complete and much more in line with the rest of the design.”

This part of our home gets a lot of natural light, so every detail is pretty visible. We installed a modern ring fixture in the room and wanted the wall hardware to feel just as intentional. The brass dimmer plate ended up being a perfect fit — simple, clean, and warm without competing with the rest of the space. I also liked having two dimmers together since it gave us better control over the lighting throughout the day. It’s one of those details that seems small at first, but once it was in place, the room finally felt fully finished.

A simple outlet upgrade that made the wall look finished

“I wasn’t expecting an outlet cover to stand out, but this one really did. The black finish with the brass screws added just enough contrast to make that part of the room feel intentional instead of overlooked.”

This was a small update, but it ended up making a noticeable difference. We were trying to clean up a few finishing details in the room, and replacing a standard outlet cover with something more refined was one of those easy decisions that paid off right away. I liked the sharp black finish and the warm brass screws - it gave the wall a more custom look without feeling flashy.
