How do I plan the order across the wall?

A four-position bank deserves a clear left-to-right schedule. Name the purpose of each control or outlet and consider how someone entering the room will use it. Check that the builder offers the functions your plan requires before finalizing the finish.

When comparing a 4-gang switch plate in a brass finish, look at the whole plate beside the surrounding wall and hardware. A finish that works on a small sample should also suit the larger area it will occupy.

What configuration details should I keep with my order?

Record the gang size, finish name, module sequence, and quantity together. Confirm which components the selection includes, then have your installer check the proposed arrangement and fit for the location. A four-position label alone does not establish compatibility.
